Don McCoy I.O.M. / CKPOI is the current President / CEO of the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce and has been since its inception in December of 2013. Don has played a vital role in growing this local chamber from only a handful of businesses to becoming one of the fastest growing and most innovative chambers in Texas. Don simply refers to himself as a proud and Blessed American/Texan who loves what he does and consistently strives to make a difference and be significant!

Don McCoy is seasoned Marketing Professional who brings vast experience to the table. Don is an "idea guy" who excels at creative marketing, project management, promotions, public relations and event planning. He has the proven ability to mastermind and lead creative teams, energize clients and the ability to achieve objectives in a effective manner.

In addition, Don is also an accomplished actor, director, producer, spokesperson, master of ceremonies and motivational speaker. He has appeared in, directed and produced several movie and television programs, however, he likes to say “I am really famous but no one knows it”

Don McCoy is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a major in Management / Marketing and a minor in Spanish. He is a Christian, Deacon and a member of Second Baptist 1463, the Katy Rotary Club and the Fulshear Simonton Lions Club. He serves on the University of Houston Katy Advisory Board and the Fulshear Police Foundation Board. He is a Lifetime member of the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. Don is also a Lifetime member of the Stephen F. Austin State University Alumni Association. As a Blessed Texan/American Don is very proud to be an Honorary Member of the Texas Alamo Rangers. Don volunteers regularly and is all about those who live and work in the community.

Don speaks Spanish fluently. He has lived in Venezuela, Mexico, England, Scotland and Iran. He has also traveled extensively throughout and around the world.
